Prairie Park Falls, our largest water feature to date, is also the largest man made waterfall in the Midwest. Over 3,500 tons of stone were used to construct the project which stands as a grand entrance to a residential condominium complex.
The water feature includes three waterfalls that comprise half of the pond’s width and drop over 24 feet to the pond. Half a million gallons of water flow over the falls every hour. The materials are locally sourced, with an ecology-based filtration system. The chemical-free water feature creates an ideal habitat for wildlife and adds further appeal to the site. The pumping system automatically reduces the flow of water each night to conserve energy, contributing to a truly environmentally responsible water feature.
