TALK ABOUT MAKING AN ENTRANCE!
Kane Brothers Water Features was approached by this homeowner for a very special project. Once achieving the opportunity to build their dream home, the clients began discussing options to integrate the central feature to their dream, to have a water feature at their entry. Kane Brothers were up to the task, developing several different art pieces, furnished features, and other concepts before the consensus for an architectural feature waterwall that used the homes stylistic precedences, and developed a feature that acted as both art piece and architectural element.
The two flanking waterwalls act as translucent partitions that add visual and auditory interest. The feature has a thoughtfully engineered hydraulic system that keeps the feature clean without the need of chemicals that would emit odors into this main living space. Careful consideration was made into the architectural integration, as well as the impact and function within the space. The waterwall panels provide space delineation of a partition while allowing the light and a diffused view of the near 30 feet of windows at the rear of the home that look out onto the scenic landscape beyond. Integrated lighting adds dramatic visuals in the evening, and enforce the dramatic entry any time of day.
